The Beijing Olympics were incredible! With all the records set and the dazzling opening and closing ceremonies. This will be hard to beat by any future host of the games. Not to mention Michael Phelps 8 gold medal record which put the icing on the Olympic cake!
I was very disappointed that IOC spokesman did his "I call upon the youth of the world" speech in French. That is one of my favorite moments of the closing ceremonies and I could not understand it.
And the Vancouver games will be happening in 2010 not 2011.

confusing because the ending credit, last few words were, " Olympics we'll be seen in 3 years in Vancouver." or something along those lines |
