| i've been wondering wat kind of program i should be useing. so far i like gimp. just suggest some kinds of program! |

| For quick, easy edits, banners and spriting- Fireworks (Expensive) For really complex edits, signatures, and endless tools- Photoshop (Very expensive) For almost everything Photoshop can do (except some features and tools)- GIMP (Free) If you have Photoshop already, go with that. If you don't, I would say GIMP is probably the best way to go. |

i went on yahoo answers and it said i had to download another 2 addition things to use it, is that true. i'll show you the link if i can find the question |

I don't really know, because I just downloaded it like that; without any other downloads. Do those two other downloads cost money? |

| You do need the other files for GIMP, but they aren't anything malicious. Go with GIMP unless you're willing to pay a lot or pirate Photoshop. |

Remember, Fireworks is something like $300.
Tenkai: I've seen that program before. Looks cool, but I don't know if it can take brushes. |
